RP Management's final acquisition of 2008 was Valley View Apartments. The property is conveniently located near Immaculata College, King of Prussia Mall and Routes 100, 422 and 724. RP Management, Inc. is in the process of adding our first new construction development to the portfolio, the High Pointe Overlook. The Overlook will be connected to the High Pointe Club apartments and share all of High Pointe's bountiful amenity package including our pool, clubhouse, 24-hour fitness center and Cyber Cafe (coming soon!).
The Overlook will ultimately consist of 120 luxury apartments in eight buildings. Located on one of the highest points in Susquehanna Township, the views will be unrivaled. Yet, we are still only 15 minutes from downtown Harrisburg and right off of Route 81. We will be offering spacious floor plans of one bedroom, one bedrooms + den, two bedrooms and three bedroom unit types. In 2008 we had our annual holiday party at Dave and Busters in Plymouth Meeting, PA. We had employees join us all the way from Alabama, Tennessee, Georgia, Ohio, and of course Pennsylvania. After a wonderful brunch buffet, we broke into teams and spent 45 minutes on a "scavenger hunt" (a) discovering answers to questions we had been provided such as how many barstools were around the bar, and (b) playing games such as having a dance off with Dave and Buster's referees. We spent the rest of the afternoon playing some of their many games, collecting tickets, and cashing them in for prizes. The rain couldn't even dampen our high spirts that day!
